>> New Version of EventMan Is Launched With Graphical Workflow Designer

Eurosoft Systems Ltd (ESL) has announced the latest version of its workflow management solution, EventMan™. Version 2.1 features a unique Graphical Workflow Designer providing users with a visual devise to simplify the setting up of their workflow and cue card processes.

As a web-based workflow application, EventMan is ideal for companies who need to share data internally and/or externally with clients and suppliers. It manages procedures, scheduled and dynamic tasks and specific jobs. EventMan records and tracks data and will trigger users to perform activities or prompt actions based on the pre-defined workflows that the user can set up. With the addition of the Graphical Workflow Designer (GWD), the user is able to construct the ideal workflow process using the visual prompts. Presented as a drawing pallet, the GWD allows the user to plot and name each stage of the workflow and then supplement these stages with additional tasks or processes. When the workflow has been set up, EventMan gives a ‘birds eye’ view of the entire process.

The functionality of the GWD can also be extended to the cue cards module in EventMan that is used for call scripting and prompting. Users can set up a visual mini-workflow to control the configuration of the cue cards, and the complex logical branching that determines their usefulness to an organisation.

In addition to the Graphical Workflow Designer, the new version of EventMan also features DIM, a document and image management tool for all kinds of documents, not just images. Knowledge management enhancements will now build on this foundation. Users will benefit from automated fax and email importing as work items, a new attachment loader and viewer, different screens according to the workflow step available and multiple electronic sign-offs for a step or flow. EventMan is now a completely stateless application for more scalability.
